OLUFEMI Babalola

Olufemi Babalola, Chairman of the board of Skystone, is an accomplished lawyer and entrepreneur with a particular focus on his multidisciplinary expertise as a solicitor, project finance adviser, infrastructure and new city developer. Olufemi Babalola is recognised internationally for his advisory roles on several multimillion-dollar projects. His extensive legal experience includes significant contributions to Nigeria’s Rural Telecom Programme and the privatisation of the London Electricity Board in the United Kingdom. His entrepreneurial acumen complements his legal expertise, enabling him to negotiate complex project finance arrangements successfully and provide strategic legal counsel for high-value developments. Notably, he was the project legal adviser for Nigeria’s Maritime Resource Centre, a landmark infrastructure serving Nigeria and the broader West African region. In addition to his law experience Olufemi has demonstrated exceptional leadership and vision as the founder and Chief Executive of Gravitas Investments Limited. Since its inception in 2006, he has steered the company from a start-up venture to a thriving enterprise with assets worth billions of Naira. His primary focus has been the ambitious Gracefield Island project, a pioneering new city development that embodies his commitment to sustainable development principles. Under his leadership, Gravitas Investments has assembled a dynamic team dedicated to the creation of an environmentally friendly and cosmopolitan neighbourhood. Olufemi’s ability to grasp complex project challenges and devise innovative, practical solutions has been instrumental in positioning Gracefield Island as a benchmark for ecoconscious urban development in Nigeria. Olufemi’s commitment to public service had seen him serve meritoriously as Executive Secretary of Ogun State Government Technical Committee on Oil, Energy and Mineral Resources (2003 – 2007), a role in which he initiated the awareness of the economic value of the bitumen reserve in Ogun East, he triggered a comprehensive assessment of commonly occurring laterite, which he turned into a rural development assessment. He led the Federal Government’s special committee on Gas-2-Power policy development (2007). Olufemi Babalola embodies the rare combination of legal proficiency and entrepreneurial vision. His work continues to contribute significantly driving sustainable growth and innovation. Olufemi brings this multidisciplinary background and extensive network to his role on the board of Skystone Finance.

OLA Olabinjo

Ola Olabinjo is the Managing Director/CEO of Skystone Finance Company Limited. He has over 35 years banking experience spanning in Investment and Corporate Banking, Risk Management, Retail Banking, Treasury, Transaction Banking and Operations. 

He previously served as the Executive Director Lagos, South-West, Corporate Directorate and the Abuja & Northern Directorate of Heritage Bank Limited. He also worked at First City Monument Bank Limited as the Divisional Head of Corporate and Commercial Banking. He also served as Ag. Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer at Law Union and Rock Insurance after its acquisition by Prudent Bank, and as Head of Prudent Bank’s Public Sector Group. 

He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman, Finance and General Purpose Committee at Fatgbems Petroleum Company Limited; Non-Executive Director and Chairman, Audit, Governance and Technical Committee at Harvestfield Industries Limited; and Non-Executive Director at Tulcan Energy Resources Limited. He is also serves as a the Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Treten Networks Limited. 

He has also served in various other capacities as the Non-Executive Director at IHS Towers (Nigeria), member of the Afrexim Bank’s Board Reconciliation Committee, and member of the Presidential Advisory Council on Code Red (The Environment). 

He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, he holds a bachelor’s and two masters’ degree in Economics and Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, the Lagos State University and the University of Bangor, Wales respectively. He is a Qualified Banker (ACIB) of England and Wales, Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration, and member of the Institute of Directors (IoD).

BARRY Adedamola

Mr. Barry Adedamola has extensive working knowledge of projects, activities and political climate of the E&P industry in West Africa and a solid experience in assisting clients with problem solving, He is experienced in delivering business development and market entry solutions to the Energy Sector that enhance and sustain competitive advantage in a rapidly restructuring and evolving global market. In all, he has over 20 years’ experience in real-time large-scale projects including over 15 years of strategic business development, business solutions and market entry strategies for global energy companies. Barry’s overall experience has been split between management and business development roles on projects and business creation functions. Previously, he managed Commodities and Transactional Sales for the largest Competitive Energy Power Company in the US. He is also a former Director for Global Oil Markets at Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), a leading consulting think-tank renowned for its global expertise on the economics, geopolitical and fundamentals shaping energy markets worldwide. He has also led an international marine services company focused on offshore construction and support services. Mr. Barry Adedamola is currently on the boards of several companies focused on Energy Services in the Oil & Gas sector. He holds graduate degrees from Bentley University and Suffolk University in the United States.

WALE Onaolapo

Wale Onaolapo is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Davisther Brokers Limited. Wale is a consummate insurance professional. He has worked for over four decades both in the underwriting and broking sectors of the Insurance Industry in Nigeria. He was at various times with Liberty Assurance Company Limited, Ban-Doy Brokers Company, Femi Johnson & Company (Insurance Brokers) and Unitrust Insurance Company Limited. He left Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc in December 2015 as Managing Director/Chief Execuitve Officer after 21 years of meritorious service. His wealth of experience over the years has exposed him to various facets of Insurance Management, General Management, Underwriting, Marketing and Information Technology. Wale Onaolapo obtained a diploma in Journalism from the London School of Journalism, UK. He is also an Associate member of both the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and Nigeria. He holds the Master of Business Administration [MBA] with special emphasis in Marketing Management from the Lagos State University, Lagos, Nigeria. Wale is also an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School having passed through the Advanced Management Program (AMP 12) of the Institution. He has been exposed to advanced training on technical and managerial related courses both locally and abroad. An astute underwriter with a very keen preference for details, Mr. Onaolapo is passionately committed to insurance profession and the interest of the insurance industry in Nigeria. Wale served as the President of the LBS AMP 12 Class from 2003 to 2010. Wale has equally served as the Chairman of the Table Tennis Section of Ikoyi Club 1938 from 2007 to 2009 and is currently listed on the Marble Roll of Honour of the Section. Wale had served on the Governing Council of the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA) from 2011 to 2015 as well as that of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) from 2010 to 2019. Wale also serves as Director on the Board of reputable business entities in Nigeria.

Titilayo Macaulay is the executive director of a family owned business, Tuela Nigeria Limited. She has 22 years cognate experience in the Banking Industry. She was at various times with Chartered Bank Ltd, Gateway Bank, City Express Bank Ltd, Intercontinental bank Plc and Access Bank Plc. She left Access Bank as an Assistant General Manager. Her wealth of experience over the years exposed her to major areas of banking like Operations, Treasury, Credit, Marketing and General Management.

Titilayo obtained the Bachelors of Arts degree in French from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife and also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago Iwoye. Titilayo is an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School having passed through the Senior Management Programme (SMP28) of the instituition. She is also an alumnus of the London Business School UK through the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP 12).

She has been exposed to several banking trainings and leadership programs both locally and internationally.
